Using my worlds as a base? Go ahead

This is something people used to do with Sims 2 neighborhoods- someone would use someone elses, get it all decorated and filled up in their own way, and share it.

Now that we have the world editor, if you want to do this, go ahead! What I mean is, for example, you might have taken the Paradise world I made and removed all teh lots, and placed 20 or 25 10x10 lots, making it a thriving little island instead of a secluded paradise. As long as you've done significant work yourself, feel free to share your save file and link here so people can download the world.

I would actually encourage people to do this, because it would be fun to see new takes on my stuff by others. :D

Do my mods work with ambitions? I don't know!

Some people have asked, but all I can say is that I am absolutely paranoid and have a mod-free (Except awesomemod) game at the moment. I have not even dared to test my own, and I likely won't any time soon.

BUT! If you have one that you know is working, it would be nice to know. Similarly, if one has stopped working, feel free to tell me, and if you wish- you can even fix it if you want. :p I'm not looking for free labor, I just don't want anybody waiting for one to be fixed to think they can't do it themselves or get someone else to do it because I'm the one who made it. Go right ahead, I don't care.

I just know I'm not going to risk testing my own stuff for a while. And I am aware of how ridiculous that sounds, yeah :D

I got too excited about Ice Houses. They uh...they appear to...melt.

Even the doors melted. There were sims trapped inside. They died.

Simple Bed Set

Left is my new bed, right is the one I made it from. :D I am surprised that I have not seen something like this before, but at the same time I would not be surprised if it has been done.

I think I should practice taking fancy screenshots of objects. But at least I am keeping my streak of making things using existing things :p

First object mesh, I think: Little Modern Chair

This has probably been done before. I searched and searched and didn't find it, though. It's a little companion to the tall "Modern" (retro) chair.

The only problem is, it squishes the texture for the top part and I don't know how to make that not happen (UV maps are apparently the bane of my existence), but this IS my first object, so cut me some slack!

Vertical stuff is ok, though.

Hooray!

Guess who is trying out meshing? And not doing a great job?

But at least I've got the basics down.

I screwed up the giant clock's hands...

This one has multiple issues but at least it shows proof of concept!

I made some other stuff but it looks even worse than these, but mostly I'm glad to have gotten meshing working properly.

Digsite

Just a quick little excuse to use foreign spawners in the homeworld. Contains Normal, France, China, and Egypt spawners, and a small junk pile.

Some found relics laid out on a tarp for cleaning.

Requires WA and Ambitions, 25x25 in size. I placed mine at the 3 way intersection towards the distant terrain of Twinbrook.

Testers Wanted: Ice Hotel

I need to know if the ice stays between games. This is the Laundromat lot from ambitions, I'm turning it into an ice hotel.

Basically I just need someone to install it and tell me if the items retain their ice-sculpture-ness. You WILL need Ambitions. A couple objects are from WA but you don't *need* it.

Fun With Ice Sculptures

Using debug commands, pretty much any object can be turned into one of the 4 sculpture types.

Including sims. When you Sculpturify a sim, their animation at that point in time is turned into a sculpture.
